Apple has recently released the iOS 9.3 for beta testers, and it brings in many new features, which include –
- Improvements for Health
As per reports obtained via Macworld, the new and improved Health app for iOS 9.3 devices will now help the users discover new HealthKit apps to install, adding a side-scrolling list of relevant apps to the bottom of the category pages for Weight, Workouts, and Sleep. It also makes it much simpler to share the data observed from the Apple Watch to other health kit apps.
CarPlay has been an important aspect where Apple has been concentrating on. Connecting your phone to the CarPlay Stereo will enable the users to see the ‘new’ and ‘for you’ sections.
Your notes on Apple devices running the iOS 9.3 are now more secure than ever before. Apple has finally added a secondary password to the notes app, and you can unlock it either with this new password or with the TouchID sensor. This adds additional security for your notes and ensures your data can only be accessed with your permission.
- Night Shift
One of the most popular features introduced by Apple in this iOS 9.3 upgrade is the introduction of the night shift mode, which basically warms up your display to pleasant colours by diminishing the unwanted blue light which might hurt your eyes when you use your phone in the night. Phone users have often complained that their eyes hurt due to the excessive brightness and Apple has ensured that won’t happen in their deviecs!
Apple News App has also been renovated, as the users now have it in a more easier layout than before, including the arrival of a new ‘landscape’ mode. Inline videos are also supported now. A tailored version of the news service which is sorted as per your interests is also available in the app.
