The last Note 7 fiasco had put Samsung in a position where it desperately needed a powerful product to bounce back in the global markets. The smartphone giant needed its upcoming Galaxy product to be big, bold and better in all aspects. If we go by the new leaks, the new Samsung Galaxy S8 has surely raised our expectations. Naver—the South Korean tech giant has revealed that the new Samsung Galaxy S8 is an extremely capable deice with faster storage, 8GB RAM and UFS 2.1 flash storage.
It may also feature a 6-inch display. Thus, effectively filling up the gap between their phablet Note and flagship Galaxy S series.
A Quick Look at Samsung Galaxy S8
The universal tipster for Samsung phones—Ice Universe has revealed that Samsung will use its 10nm fabrication technology to design the powerful 8GB memory. It’s nothing compared to the earlier leaks that suggested 6GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage.
That’s not all folks! The big and better S8 will feature a 6-inch Super AMOLED display. This isn’t surprising considering that the company is fond of its phablet products.
Rumors also claim that Samsung is planning to introduce the ‘Beast Mode’ in this product. This new feature holds the European trademark and it’ll somehow elevate their efficiency. Tech-experts are relating it to Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. The Beast Mode will somehow make its processing faster, though not much is known about this feature so far.
The expected increase in display size will not make it as big as a phablet. Though we might see a variant (Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus) in the near future. It’ll probably carry very thin bezels.
Including all these remarkable features will take a lot of time. So, Samsung has pushed back the launch of this new smartphone to April 2017. As of now, the makers are tight-lipped regarding Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. All we know is that if the rumors are true, the company will surely regain its lost business worldwide.
