Samsung has been one of the most popular names across the planet when it comes to the world of technology. The company was once known for their efforts in the markets of consumer technology, and has now been dominating the world of smartphone technology. For Samsung, the transition from consumer electronics to smartphones was quite a smooth transition. The company has managed to come out with several new releases in recent times, and the latest that we hear from market rumors and speculations is that the company is now working on the gen-next edition of the Samsung Galaxy Tab which will release as an 8 inched tablet soon.
The new Samsung Galaxy Tab has been a device which is expected to be introduced at lower prices than its predecessors. It is expected to be an entry-level device, and it is allegedly titled SM-T375S as per leaked documents. The recent Bluetooth and WiFi certifications that have leaked show that the device is quite recent, and these documents were filed on the 24th of December. Additional reports have shown that two similar devices are expected, titled SM-T375S and SM-T375L.
Additional listings as per Zauba claim that a prototype of this device was recently imported from South Korea to India for testing purposes. As per information obtained via Delhi Air Cargo, two units were shipped, the second likely to be the ‘L’ variant of the tablet. The Samsung Galaxy Tab comes with no official announcement from the company, and it is expected that announcements shall follow in either the Consumer Electronics Show or the Mobile World Congress in 2016. As per the price details obtained via the listings it is being said that the device might be priced in at as less as $120, making it a sure-shot entry level device. More details are yet to be made available about the L variant, but it is expected to be the variant with better features.
However, the arrival of a new 8 inched Samsung Galaxy Tab is certainly quite an exciting announcement.
