Just 10 days from now, the 21st of February is an important landmark in the world of technology. Samsung is all set to unveil its next-gen devices on that day, and the world of technology is all set to look at the reveals in awe. It has been teased via an official Samsung teaser that the Samsung Galaxy S7 and something pertaining to a VR device is coming out on that day, though the specifics of the two remain unknown. Here’s a look at what we might expect to soon see on that day –
Samsung Galaxy S7
Expected to release in three variants based on design, and each of these three variants coming out with two variants each on the basis of processors, the base model of the S7 is expected to feature 5.1 inches of screen, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
The other two variants are expected to be that of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Plus. The devices both are expected to be bigger than the S7 in size, and while the S7 Edge is expected to feature an edged display, the Edge+ is expected to come out with a dual edged display.
The phones will release in certain regions with the Exynos 8890, and in other regions with the Snapdragon 820 processors.
Samsung VR Camera – Gear 360.
The Gear 360 has been freshly rumored to release together with the Samsung Galaxy S7, and is expected to be a device which features 2 fish eye lenses of 180 degrees. Kodak and Nikon have released similar devices in the past. The device is expected to come out with a 4K wrap-around picture upon using both the lenses together. Users will also be able to capture timelapses as well as panoramas with the device.
