9th September 2015 is a big day for Apple fans, because we are going to meet the new versions of the iPhone, that is the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus.
That is not all, the 9th September event is also expected to see the release of some other much awaited devices.
The Apple watch was welcomed warmly by Apple fans when it was launched.
Various versions of it were launched. While the general crowd took pleasure in using the normal versions, the rich made the apple watch a style statement.
After the trend of launching iPhones in solid gold, the Cupertino giant look a step towards making the Apple watch super premium as well and launched the watch in pure gold.
Beauty Of course, comes with a price when it comes to gadgets and gizmos.
The starting range for these devices was $10,000 and the highest models logged a price of $17,000.
The amazing OLED screen sparkles against the bright golden body, giving the phone a sophisticated look.
Needless to say, the Apple watch gold edition remained a device for the elite – a limited number of buyers and an endless number of admirers for which the watch was nothing but a distant dream, never to come true.
It finally seems like some of these admirers, if not all, might finally get a chance to lay their hands on this device.
No, not the very same Apple watch, but a cheaper version of the gold edition.
It may not be completely the same, but it at least is on the horizon of being the dream watch.
The original Apple watch was made up of 18 carat gold and the same material is proposed to be used again.
Other materials that may be incorporated to reduce costs for this range is white gold, titanium, ceramic carbon fiber and rubber.
The use of these materials along with gold would be able to reduce costs for a bit.
It is difficult to say how cheap the watch would become, but yes, there should be a big price drop. Some sources have expressed the desire to see a watch priced below $2000.
It does not seem to be possible to see a gold device that cheap, unless of course gold is only used to make a electroplating on the device.
Well, regarding this time will tell. Meanwhile, we can make do with the two new iPhones and wait for the September 9th to see the launch of iPad Mini 4 and the rumored large screened iPad Pro.
Other launches would include the new Apple TV, as well as the Apple Watch OS 2 and OS X El Capitan.
