Since a long time the Oculus Rift has been coming out in the international markets on bits and stutters and now the company has decided to take a huge step outside the United States market and start exploring the European and the Canadian market. After some time Oculus has made a public announcement that the company will start to rollout their latest product that is the Rift into the European and Canadian markets.
The company stated that the Rift by Oculus will be available to buy in number of stores in the European countries and even in Canada from 20th of September. The online pre ordering of Rift from the same retailers have been started from today only. The suggested price for pre ordering is said to be in the region of 549 GBP or if we see it in euros then 699 euros. The company has further went on and also named the stores in which the Rift will be available. In the United Kingdom, the Oculus Rift will be available to purchase from the stores of Game, PC World, Amazon.co.uk, John Lewis, and even in the London’s very own Harrods department.
In France, the Rift by Oculus will be available for purchase in Amazon.fr and FNAC as well. In Germany, the headset by Oculus will be sold at MediaMarkt, Saturn and Amazon.de. In the Canadian market the Oculus Rift will be sold at the Microsoft Store and the Best Buy. The company has also stated that some of these stores will also be giving in store demos for personal experience. The total numbers of stores that will be offering this personal experience are more than 600 across the US, Canada and Europe. But just keep in mind that your PC should be ready for virtual reality before you start spending on VR headsets.
