Microsoft has been one of the most dominating players in the markets of technology since a very long time now. The company has had a great track record in the past when it comes to the world of software and OS technology, and has now been getting into the world of hardware technology, and has been trying to find their feet in the markets. Microsoft has managed to bring around many much needed changes in the world of hardware, but has been failing at things time and again. Microsoft is now looking forward to release the Surface Phone, which is expected to change the way the markets perceive the company’s mobile devices.
Perception – yes, that’s the keyword here as Microsoft is working hard towards changing their very image in the markets as many people have taken it for a fact that Microsoft is a company which is destined to flop in the mobile phone markets. However, the company is making conscious efforts, and the release of the Surface Phone is one such step.
The specs of the Surface Phone have been leaked on popular website Reddit where it has been said that the device is anticipated to release with variants of 4GB to 8GB of RAM, as well as 64, 128, and 512 GB of storage space variants too. Basically the combination for the Surface Phone would be like 64GB storage with 4GB of RAM, 128GB storage with 6GB of RAM and 412GB of storage with 8GB of RAM. The devices are all expected to be powered by desktop class intel processors.
It has been anticipated that the phones will run on the Windows 10 Mobile OS and will support some of the top services such as Continuum and Liquid cooling. The Surface Phone is also expected to release into the markets with a Surface Dock and a Surface Pen.
It is being said that the Surface Phone is actually a re-branded Surface Mini.
