For over the past 40 years, Microsoft has been a leader in the markets of software technology, and especially when it comes to operating systems. Microsoft has managed to dominate the world of Software technology rather successfully and the company has been working on the Windows 10 and the Windows 10 Mobile OS these days. Microsoft’s Windows 10 devices have gained popularity and it is the fastest growing Windows OS. With the Windows 10 Mobile OS, the company has now been looking forward towards innovating many trends in the markets and this update has now been released for the older, Nokia Lumia devices too.
The Windows 10 Mobile OS update was earlier available only for the users of the Lumia 950, Lumia 950 XL, Lumia 550 and Lumia 650. However, this update now comes out for the users of other devices too, and Microsoft had thrice delayed this in the past. The company has now finally introduced this update after a long wit.
The update came out for the users of Lumia 1520, 930, 640, 640XL, 730, 735, 830, 532, 535, 540, 635 1GB, 636 1GB, 638 1GB, 430, 435, BLU Win HD w510u, BLU Win HD LTE x150q, and the MCJ Madosma Q501 devices.
Some of the popular phones such as the Lumia 520, Lumia 1020 and Lumia 1320 were visibly missing from the list, and the company has now released an official blog post stating why they decided to omit some popular devices.
“This list includes a limited set of Windows Phone 8.1 devices and does not include some devices that are currently running Windows 10 Mobile in the Windows 10 Mobile Insider program. As Windows 10 delivers significant new innovations, many older devices are not able to successfully upgrade without an impact on the customer experience. Our goal is to only offer the Windows 10 upgrade to devices that we are confident can continue to deliver a good customer experience,” the company said.
