Apple has been coming out with several innovations in their offerings over the last several years. The company has now been progressing under a whole new level of innovative fronts, and the latest that we hear from the rumors surrounding Apple is the release of their gen-next smartphone, the iPhone 5SE.
The iPhone 5SE has been a phone which has been speculated by various people to come out with different names. It has earlier been speculated to be known as the iPhone 6c, the iPhone 5e, iPhone 7c, and several other names. However, off late it has been expected to come out as the iPhone 5SE, which stands for Special Edition.
As per Apple, the 5SE is the spiritual successor of the 5S, and is neither a part of the current generation of gen-6/6s devices, nor a part of the upcoming gen-7 devices. The latest speculations indicate that the device might be coming out into the markets with a 4 inch screen, and will run on the iOS 9.
The device is expected to feature the same specs as the iPhone 6s and 6s plus devices, but will not be coming out with the 3D touch feature. The phone is likely coming out with the same A9 processor that is a part of the latest devices. The iPhone 5SE is expected to feature the touch ID sensor and the lightning port as well.
This brand new Apple device is expected to be every bit as good as the current devices but just smaller in size. Apple has experimented with the smaller devices in the past as well, when they released the iPhone 5c.
The phone is expected to be announced in the month of March, along with a new iPad Air device. Speculations surrounding the release of an iPod have also been in the rumor mill. As of this moment the company has not made anything official and we advise our readers to take it with a grain of salt.
