Assassin’s Creed which is one of the most well known gaming franchises in the world of gaming, has been having an amazing 2014, with its fourth game being launched today, the company is having quite a celebration.
The company has recently launched Assassin’s Creed: Identity, which is an iPad and an iPhone exclusive, and is currently only available in the Australian markets.
It is however expected to be shortly launched for the US and then for the rest of the world too.
The game is a 3D FPS view game, and it comes free of cost. However it features microtransactions, but in a very limited amount. Three different character classes are available in the game, players can hire ‘friends’ to help complete objectives during any point in the game.
A decryption system has also been introduced which will allow users to unlock various in-game items which are otherwise not available.
This is the fourth game of the series to launch this year, the other three are : Assassin’s Creed: Unity, Assassin’s Creed: Rogue and Assassin’s Creed: Americas Collection.
Assassin’s Creed: Identity is being viewed as “a new milestone in mobile graphics” according to Ubisoft. They might be trying to blow their own trumpet here, but the fact of the matter is, that the game’s visuals are actually quite appealing and are very, very good. The 3D effects have been added to the perfection.
The game is set during the period of Italian Renaissance, and the story missions are spread over iconic locations such as the Colosseum of Rome, and various other iconic locations and landmarks, including Florence.
The missions of the game have deliberately been kept short to motivate the players to keep playing as it has been observed that mobile gamers have a shorter span of interest than the console gamers.
A 22 minute video has been released for the game, which can be viewed here:
The minimum requirement of the game is an iOS7, and iPad 3 or iPhone 5.
