The future of Google is here. The rate at which the Californian giant is expanding is rather commendable. From simple search engines, the company has launched mobile operating system and apps. The company has even ventured into driverless cars as of now.
With all these technological developments, it is unlikely to have one sector left behind, the search engine. Google has always been known for its web search feature. Now, the company has come to a point that they want to make their search engine better and more interactive.
Think about this – what if you had the option of sending messages to a service asking them questions and they find answers for you? Indeed, this would be a wonderful solution. Rather than you having to hunt for Answers, the search engine will do the most relevant answering for you.
You’d be happy to know that this is going to be the future of Google. The company is going to launch Chatbots, who will be able to intercept your questions and will be able to give the answers to all your questions.
This was first disclosed in a report by Wall Street Journal. The report put focus on Google’s future plans to put Artificial intelligence to task, particularly in the form of a messaging application, which will allow the users to send messages to the search engine. The questions that the user would ask could be of any nature. The AI chatbot at the receiving end will then search for the most relevant responses and reply to it in a message.
Apparently, this feature had been in the works for quite some time. The company had assigned Nick Fox, currently vice president of communications at Google to lead a team of developers who would put together the best ideas to solve the problems.
Should this idea be actualized, it will give developers more scope of coming up with new applications that would serve as chatbots for specific queries. For example, if a user wants to have an answer from medicine, he could make use of a medical chatbot application and get the best answered. TensorFlow machine-learning platform has already been brought into the picture and along with the new technology, the future of Google’s search engine could indeed be very bright.
