Samsung will be releasing their upcoming flagship phone, the Samsung Galaxy S7 on the 21st of February. The company is all set to come out with a large number of new features and upgrades, and is expected to change the way the markets function. Samsung’s latest flagship phone will be releasing alongside the Gear 360 VR Camera, at the Galaxy Unpacked event as per various reports. The event will be held on the 21st of February. With less than 10 days to go, the excitement is on an all-time high.
Samsung Galaxy S7 is a phone which is expected to come out in 2 variants initially – the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge. The device is also expected to have a third variant, the S7 Edge+, but that will be releasing at a later date and will be releasing only in select countries.
As per speculations, the basic S7 model will be coming out with a 5.1 inched screen, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The phone is expected to feature a 3000mAh battery, and will be running on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The S7 Edge and Edge+ are both expected to be larger in size than the S7, and while the S7 Edge will come with an edged display, the Edge+ is likely to feature a dual edged display.
Each of the Samsung Galaxy S7 variant is further expected to release in two variants each, one featuring the Snapdragon 820 SoC processor, and the other coming out with the Samsung made Exynos 8890 processor.
The device is expected to release with many other features such as a pressure sensitive screen, and an ‘always on display’ which has been recently patented by the company. Additional rumors have indicated that a specially made, limited edition Gear VR device might be given away for free for those who pre order the Samsung Galaxy S7.
