Google has been at the forefront of the world of technological development when it comes to the markets of internet technology. The web giant, which began as a search engine has now digressed into various fields of the world of internet technology and beyond, and has been doing quite well there. Google’s success can be well put in just one line when we look at the monumental success that they have achieved over the past few years. From being a name which was almost unknown into the markets, it has now become quite a mammoth in the markets and rubs shoulders with the likes of Microsoft and Apple.
Android technology has been one of the biggest assets for Google, and the company has been working hard towards promoting it. As per latest news reports, Google has now been developing something which is going to be of a major benefit for both, the users and the app developers.
Google is all set to introduce ‘Trial Run ads’ today. These adds will now allow the applications to be demonstrated for nearly a minute before they are actually downloaded. This will benefit both, the users and the apps, as if the application is actually quite good and the UI is enticing enough, the users will download the app. In case the app is not what the users are looking forward towards, it will save them time, and in many cases, money too.
This is especially beneficial to the game developers as they will now allow the users to first try it out and then download it. This would ensure that the apps and games reach the intended audiences. Another major point that needs to be highlighted here is that the developers need not pay for the ad when a user runs the demonstration, but instead when the users hit on the install button.
This is indeed a great strategic move from Google, and an absolute win-win policy for all the parties involved.
