The world of technology has been witnessing many rapid changes. Devices have been shrinking in order to get more and more people to connect together.
A large number of people are now dependent on devices which are shrinking. Phones are no longer bulky and big, they have thinned down and slimmed down.
The computers, too are no longer as bulky as they used to be. Razor thin devices are coming out.
Devices that fit in envelopes, devices that are light as air.
Computers are now quickly evolving into their next form factor – tablets. In another 15 years, Internet of Things would take over and there might not even be a single device controlling everything but various devices controlling various things.
In these times, three tablets stand against each other as Google, Microsoft and Apple have all released their latest devices:
- Google Pixel C:
Google, in recent past, had launched the Pixel series of laptops. They were not much of a commercial success but were appreciated by the people. In order to add more credibility to the Pixel devices, the company has launched Google Pixel C, a tablet with a 10.2-inch display, and runs on an octa-core Nvidia Tegra X1 SoC with a 256-core Nvidia Maxwell GPU, the device comes with 3GB of RAM and with a base model that comes with 64 GB of storage space.
- Apple iPad Pro:
Apple has been one of the biggest names in the tech markets, and with their latest tablet, they have tried to innovate back into the tops spots. The new iPad comes with 12.9 inches of screen that support 5.9million pixels, the device also comes with the A9X chip, which is Apple’s ‘most powerful’ chip. The iPad Pro runs on the iOS 9, and comes with a sound system based on the strategically placed speakers.
- Microsoft Surface Pro 4:
Microsoft, with their Surface Pro 4 tablet has attempted to tap further into the tablet markets, and is aiming at coming out with a device which would be useful to various kinds of users for various purposes. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 comes with RAM options ranging from 4GB to 16GB of RAM and comes with SSD of a minimum 128 GB to a maximum of 1TB.Running the Windows 10 OS, the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has released with 12.3 inches of screen size, and offers the users with options of processors varying from Core M to Core i5 and i7’s 6th generation processors. Despite rumors of the Skylake processor, it did not happen this time around, and is expected to release with their next big release.
