Microsoft has been among some of the biggest names when it comes to the markets of technology over the years. The company has been coming out with some of the most innovative updates and upgrades of recent times, and has been changing several trends in the markets of technology as we know them to be. The company has been coming out with devices after devices and has been bringing many new elements in to the markets. Having been known for their software business, Microsoft, over the years, has been working on the hardware side of things too, as the company has now been working on their Surface series of devices. They have released several devices in the past, and 2017 is expected to bring the Surface Phone and the Surface Book 2.
The Surface Phone has been a device which has been talked about since nearly a year now, but we are yet to receive any confirmation about the device. There have been a large number of releases which have been happening, but the Surface Phone has never been talked about. The device is currently speculated to be under development under the codename – Juggernaut Alpha.
The Surface Book 2, the successor to the first Surface Book which came out in 2015 will also be coming alongside the Surface Phone, but no details are known about the laptop yet. The Surface Phone, however, is expected to be a device which could give some modern day PCs a run for their money. The device is expected to come out with the Snapdragon 821/823 processor, and is all set to bring forward a major change in the way we know the Microsoft Mobiles to be.
The Surface Phone is expected to release in the following three variants:
- A Basic version with 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of storage space,
- The Advanced version which features 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space,
- The Pro Variant, with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage space.
