Looks and efficiency – both are the trademarks of Apple products.
This year Apple would be awing us with the launch of the latest version of the MacBook Air in the Spring Forward Event.
The 12 inch Macbook would be the first of its kind. The announcement was made with both the Macbook Air and Macbook Pro.
The availability of all these models is a good feature but it has also come up with a serious problem – people are finding it more and more difficult to chose which one they should buy for themselves this Spring.
People with a preference for the highest model would want to choose the Macbook Pro.
However, people with a normal taste would really have to battle their wits to decide which Mac they really want, a Macbook or a Macbook Air. We have taken the opportunity to compare both the models and decide which of the two is a better choice.
The MacBook is attractive. It is light, stylish and above all, it has no fan inside it. The MacBook Air is heavier than its counterpart. While the MacBook weighs 0.92 kgs, the 11 inch model weighs 1.08 kg and the 13 inch model weighs 1.35 kg. The MacBook is currently the slimmest Apple laptop till date.
The two types of devices, MacBook Air and MacBook are both great buys for you. Since the Macbook Air has two sizes – 11.6-inch and the 13.3 inch versions, the acceptability among customers is much higher. The 11.6 inch device is a perfect choice for people who carry about the device a lot.
The people who prefer larger screens should find the 13.3 inch device more intriguing. The Macbook is a more medial solution because it provides the option to have a 12 inch screen.
The configuration of the Macbook air is quite better than that of the macbook, but Apple provides a guarantee that even macbook buyers would not be disappointed. Macbook also ensures silent processing, because it does not have a fan to make an extra noise.
The macbook has three versions of hardware in 1.1 GHz, 1.2 GHz and 1.3 GHz. The Turbo Boost functionality can increase this power to 2.4 GHz, 2.6 GHz and 2.8 GHz, which is pretty neat for any user.
The Macbook air on the other hand has a 1.6 GHz Core i5 processor but on paying an extra £130 you can get a 2.2 GHz Core i7 processor.
The Macbook Air is priced at £749 for its 11 inch device and £999 for the 13 inch version. An extra £80 can be paid for boosting RAM which is a preloaded 4GB. Macbook costs £1049 which can be considered pricey, but it provides you 8GB RAM and 256 GB hard disk.
