The iPhone, when it was first conceptualized by Steve Jobs, was a product for the achievers and not for the aspirers. However over the years, with credit facilities and contracted devices becoming common, the company has now made the phone for everyone, and started heating things up with attractive taglines such as ‘if you don’t have an iPhone, you don’t have an iPhone’. The company has currently been working on a strategy to convert more and more non-users into first time users, as they believe once the users taste blood for the first time, they’d rather remain brand loyal. In an effort for the same, an iPhone 5s price cut has been introduced for the third time.
This price cut takes the price of the iPhone 5s device to record lows. The iPhone 5s price now rests at $200 in some countries, and it looks like Apple is no longer going to come out with any more iPhone 5s devices as the official website no longer shows the phone listed in stock.
This is Apple’s third iPhone 5s price cut, the first one came after the iPhone 6, then after the 6s and now after the iPhone SE. iPhone 5s price has now reached as low as $200 in some nations, and the company is seeing this discount as the cost of acquisition.
Apple had noted that even in 2015, there was a major demand for the 4 inched iPhone devices, and the company had sold as many as 30 million 4 inched iPhones in 2015. With that statistic being the driving force, Apple has now released the iPhone SE – another 4 inched device which has the body of an iPhone 5s but the features of an iPhone 6s.
The iPhone 5s price drop has now taken the device to affordable lows, and believe us when we say it – the iPhone will never, ever be as cheap as this again!
