A month prior, the world was able to get its hands upon the iOS8, which is a new operating system by Apple.
The same was followed by an iOS 8.1 update, which was released earlier this month and took care of most of the bugs and glitches with the OS.
A jailbreak for this was not expected to arrive very soon, but the jailbreaking process showed a slow and steady progress.
The jailbreak for iOS8 was released earlier this month by Pangu. Pangu had come up with the iOS7.1 jailbreak this year.
This jailbreak is still undergoing many changes. Cydia is missing from this jailbreak as it is still not fully ready for use on the iOS8.
The creator of Cydia, Saurik, is said to be currently working on the project but has made no comment about when the program would be available to all.
In short, the jailbreak is currently applicable only of those users who have the iOS 8 OS.
If Saurik refrains from adding Cydia to iOS 8 jailbreak, then jailbreakers would need to make a manual install of Cydia using SSH, something that will make running this jailbreak difficult for those people who are not very tech savvy.
Currently the jailbreak is only good with Windows OS, and it has not been developed for the OS X version yet and to make matters worse, the jailbreak is currently not available in English yet.
The best part about this jailbreak would be that the iOS8 jailbreak is perfectly compatible with all devices that can run the iOS8. The devices are iPad Mini 3, iPad Air 2, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus but older devices also, such as iPad Air and iPhone 5S.
The Evad3rs is another team involved in the jailbreaking game.
The team jailbroke the iOS 7 and they might be involved in jailbreaking the OS this time as well, but a recent statement by them stated that they would not want to do any jailbreaking this time, as doing the same work over and over again is boring for them.
