DomisLive (a.k.a. Dom), the renowned GTA V tipster, has shared some interesting pieces of leaks regarding the ‘Social Club TV’ and the ‘Developer Kit PC’ gameplay in the GTA Online.
These leaks basically concern upcoming features in the GTA Online, the online variant of the GTA V. GTA V is an ‘open-world action-adventure’ game published by Rockstar Games, and developed by Rockstar North.
While the game was launched back in September 2013 for the Xbox 360, and the PlayStation 3, it is yet to arrive to the latest-gen consoles, i.e. Xbox One and PlayStation 4, along with PC; its release on these platforms is expected sometime in Q4 2014, maybe even as early as September.
The information comes from a protected site, accessed by Chrome X Modz, a renowned modder and hacker of the GTA Community. Chrome X Modz is believed to then have passed this information to DomisLive.
According to the leak, Rockstar is working on a secret ‘Social Club TV’ project, and are currently beta testing it for the upcoming PC version of the GTA V. Under the ‘Social Club TV’ logo on the website was an animation that read “UPLOAD”, cementing the speculations of the feature being under development.
Chrome X Modz was able to verify a functioning state of the beta version of this Social Club TV, as he spectated differently situated gamers in GTA Online.
A recent Rockstar Newswire report had also suggested the development of a new video editor for better movie-making with the GTA V PC edition. If this report turns out to be true, gamers will be able to share their gameplay on a variety of Social Media platforms, as well as view clips uploaded via Social Club TV.
In the video, Chrome X Modz showcases his reported access to the Developer Kit by walking into some random clothing store in the GTA V with Rockstar Developer Edition T-shirts. These T-shirts, however, won’t be available for public access.
