Over the last few years, Facebook has been a company which has been on a major rise to success. The company has been coming out with a large number of updates and upgrades for their devices and has been changing the way we know the markets of technology to be. The company has been innovating several aspects of the markets as we know it to be, and has been coming out with some of the major changes for their apps. One such big change has now rolled out for the Facebook Messenger.
The Facebook Messenger has received a redesign today, where several new features have been introduced.
Users of the Facebook Messenger can now see ‘recent messages’ on the top of the screen where chat bubbles with your recent conversations would be placed. A new ‘favorites’ section, too, has been added where the users you converse the most with would be shown. A new, ‘active now’ section has also been added where you would be able to see the users who are currently available online.
Other than this, another major change has come in the form of a ‘birthdays’ section, where users can notice more easily about which of their friends are celebrating a birthday today. The Facebook Messenger would now prompt you to wish them happy birthday.
Facebook has actually issued a newsroom blog post over this redesign, where they have talked about it in detail. The company has talked about why this update was needed, saying, “With these updates, we’re aiming to make Messenger simpler to use by presenting more relevant information. We look forward to building even more ways to make using Messenger better in the future.”
With over 900 million users now using the Facebook Messenger, there have been many updates which have come out in recent times. The latest one being this hidden football game in the messenger, have you tried it out yet?
