An all new trailer has been launched for the latest game in the Final Fantasy series – the final fantasy XV, which features an improved version of a trailer that was launched last month, as a part of the Paris Games Festival.
The video that has recently been released is straight from Square Enix, and it is available in 1080p this time!
Square Enix has mentioned “This is a work in progress. The final product may be subject to change,” along with the video.
They have also released a ‘tech demo’ video which talks about some behind the scene aspects of the game and how the devs faced certain obstacles in making the game and how they overcame them.
The game, according to a recent announcement, was only 55% finished, as the director of the game Hajime Tabata had the following to say:
“It’s about 55 percent complete, but the quality of the demo itself, compared to the final product, is about 80 percent.” So doing the math, you might assume that that means we have another eight years of waiting for the game to get into a final state, but Tabata clarified, “When asked if it’s going to take another eight years: definitely not. I’m afraid we can’t say how long it’s going to take from here. But, since the transition to XV, we’ve gotten this far in two years.”
Tabata then gave us some more information on the conceptualization of the game that happened some two years ago: “The game was first established as Final Fantasy Versus XIII for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms, and we transitioned to Final Fantasy XV for next-gen consoles.

That transition was made about two years ago, and I was put in charge of that project. Since then, we’ve re-evaluated the development team, the development structure, and the process.”
We are awaiting the launch of this game in the near future! Keep following us at TheREM for latest updates regarding Final Fantasy XV.
